The Story
Verté is run by Tanya and Eloise, mother and daughter. Tanya ran The French Tarté at Stirling Market for over a decade — galettes, brownies, four-weekly pastry production for the Hills market crowd — and the cafe in Mylor grew out of years of regulars asking when she'd open a permanent room. Eloise is a registered clinical nutritionist; the menu sits at the intersection of French technique and microbiome-focused cooking. Seasonal menus that turn with the Hills.
