The North Room

Tim and Shannon Stewart opened The North Room in Mermaid Beach in 2017, after Tim's run as Chef de Cuisine at Vie at Palazzo Versace, Executive Sous at Seaduction, and Executive Chef at Oskars in Burleigh. Twenty seats, tasting menu only at dinner, long or short menu at lunch — Thursday to Saturday. The name comes from their earlier move north from Victoria, where they first ran Pippi's in Yamba in their twenties. Daily-changing menu, daily-changing wines, mostly Australian.
